*BIG 8 (Pierce G) 1486-D (Buffalo Thunder x Ruby Ridge) EEre EV 34” 8” flower, 5 way branching, 40 buds, fragrant.
I was so happy to be able to get this name. What do you get when
you have a big in your face full form red that opens before you do, a
great scape, with a pinkish watermark and a white and gold edge? BIG 8
Another big BUFFALO THUNDER keeper. I do think she needs some
better color, but I’ll leave that for you to have fun with. Bill
Waldrop enjoyed blooming BIG 8 this season and he said he had lots of
fun. I have not gotten a picture though to do justice for BIG 8,
as she likes to roll back a tad it’s hard to capture her true
size. Anyway a great daylily for show and for breeding.
