*DOO WOP (Stamile,P.) TET 459-X (Peacock Feathers x Linguini) 36” EMRe. Emo. 9” x 1 7/8” x 1”. Spider ratio 2.9:1.  5-way branching (3 laterals + terminal Y).  25-30 buds.  This striking daylily is certainly not round, nor neither a spider nor an unusual form but rather a long petalled daylily with beautiful color. As such, it harkens back to a simpler time of Doo Wop and backup singers not electronic synthetic music.

    DOO WOP is a well-admired clear saturated orchid purple with a near black eye and lemon green throat. The blooms are nicely ruffled for a long petalled daylily. Simply, this daylily is all about color and how a tall 9” spidery type bloom can bring a great color impact to the garden. Fertile both ways but a very difficult pod parent.
