* RAVEN’S SONG (Stamile, P. – Pierce) TET 760 P {(Violet Becomes You x sdlg) x Big Red Wagon} 32” E Re, Fr. EV. 6” 5 way branching, 35 buds.
This rich, dark velvety purple is the closest to black we have in the
garden. The very ruffled wide petals are edged in both white and gold
offering a wonderful contrast, and there is a watermark above the green
throat of bluish lavender. The bluish lavender is also seen in the
outer ruffling. RAVEN’S SONG is a large solid flower, and holds up with
no damage in our Florida sun. This was one of Pat’s favorites.
Evergreen, but has the bluish green leaves that the dormants tend to
have. Fertile both ways.
