*Reigning Red (Pierce G.) 2010-R (Red Blooded X Bold Paint) TET EV EM 44” scape, 6.75" flower, 5 way branding, 35 buds.
And the winner is; Reigning Red for her overly square petals, round
overlapped form, true Red color and a perfect ratio of scape and
height. As Reigning Red is extremely pod fertile she is producing
big gold edged red daylilies on tall scapes. Reigning red opens
perfectly every bloom and is a heavy flower standing up well to sun and
rain. My best red to date and our best red parent this spring
too. Exceptionally fertile both ways.
