    From day one I have always had a passion for big ruffled yellow daylilies.  I couldn’t wait for the Salter’s to put out their newest catalog each year to get the newest beauties from the 'Betty Warren Woods' era.  Daylilies have come a long way since then, and if you love big clear intense yellow daylilies as I do, you will love Waxed Mint.  This big lemon self is deeply pleated down into the deep green throat.  The throat color then washes the lime coloration back out over the entire flower face.  Curt Hansen said when he was in the garden this year, “I hope you are going to release this one!”  Thank You Curt.
