*CRESCENT JUMP (Stamile,P.) TET 068-E
[Lavender Arrowhead X (Tetra Green Widow x Tetra Cerulean Star)] 36” EMRe.
Ev. fr. emo. 9½” x 1¾” x 7/8”. 11” wingspan. 5-way branching.
20-25 buds. Strong erect scapes. Unusual form – crispate. A big “thank
you” to Rich Rosen and Bob Fosse for reminding me how much “dance” is in
the spiders and unusual forms. Unlike the more static full forms, spiders
seem to move and dance in the garden. I have taken two names from Bob Fosse’s
12 Step Program, CRESCENT JUMP and TEACUP FINGERS. Truly when CRESCENT
JUMP first bloomed I mentally did a “crescent jump”. (This fat old body
would not allow the real thing.) CRESCENT JUMP is a beautiful lavender
pink unusual form. It has been our most important parent for clear pink
and rose pinks. This wonderfully pinched, quilled and twisted crispate
gives some of the funkiest seedlings in the garden. Along with BALI WATERCOLOR,
it also is one of our best parents for patterns in the spiders – especially
in the pinks. A great new color in the tet spider palette. Easily fertile
both ways…..$100.00
