4-5 way branching. 35 buds. I no longer write out the very
long seedling crosses (write me if you wish to know) but I wanted to show
the complexity behind DELTA BLUES. Because of the interesting heritage
of DELTA BLUES I am especially excited to see what will show up in
the seedlings. DELTA BLUES, itself, is a cream with the bluest eye
I have seen in a tetraploid. The eye is actually multi-layered and
begins in the outer concentric ring as a lavender rose, then a ring of
wisteria blue lavender and then two shades of purplish blue ending in a
chartreuse cream yellow and nile green throat. Colors are as close
as I could match using the Exotica color charts. This is truly a
great daylily in every way and one I am very proud to introduce.
If you are hybridizing for blue or complex eyes I could not recommend it
more. Easily fertile both ways……….$100.00
