IN PINK (Stamile,P.) TET 4262-C [(Pink Intrigue x Tetra Beautiful
Edgings) X Tetra Forsyth Flaming Snow] 38” MRe. emo. no fr.
Ev. 5 ½” x 3” x 2”. 7-way branching (4 laterals + terminal
“W”) 45 buds.
This is the first in our series of edges without
eyes or true picotee colored borders, depending on how you look at
them. This remarkable near white has a deep rose pink edge on both
petals and sepals but the pink edge is much more prominent on the
petals. Petal edges are precisely fluted and blooms open early and
flat. Wonderfully long lateral branching comes from Tetra
Forsyth Flaming Snow. Plant proportions and plant habits are
exemplary.
The flower texture of EDGED IN PINK is truly unique.
The surface texture of the flower is ribbed as if made of corduroy
radiating out of the green throat. A truly beautiful flower adding
three gene pools in the search for new bordered daylilies. Easily
fertile both ways.
