*FRENCH TWIST
*FRENCH TWIST (Stamile, P) TET 1136-A [( Christmas
Tidings x Web Browser) X Skinny Marink] 38” EERe. fr. emo. Ev.
9” x 1½” x 7/8”. 13 ½” wing span. Spider. Spider
ratio 4.5:1. 4-way branching. 20–25 buds. Does the world need another
red spider? Yes, if it looks like FRENCH TWIST. These beautiful
lilting, curling, cascading, outfacing blooms are presented on strong erect
upright well-branched scapes. A gorgeous waxy green throat sets off
the Christmas red flowers. FRENCH TWIST has a long bloom season with,
at least, three sets of scapes and no matter how many blooms are open nor
whether it is on the first set or third set of scapes, the scapes never
lean over or fall, even in wind and rain. If I could have but one
red spider it would be CRAZY CRANE or FRENCH TWIST. Fertile both
ways.
