*HELIX

*HELIX (Stamile, P.) TET 071-A (Inky Fingers X Web Browser) 33” EERe. nofr. emo. Ev. 9” x 1½” x 1”.  15” wingspan.  Petal length 6½”, petal width 1½”. Spider ratio 4.3:1. Spider variant. 5 way branching. 30-35 buds. HELIX is an absolutely stunning daylily. It gets its name from the way the sepals curl and form a helix upon them like an old-fashioned watch spring. The throat is huge and deep celery green. The flower color is something between a Bordeaux wine and deep beet color. The substance is excellent. The flowers outface giving a dramatic and powerful garden presentation. The scapes are strong and upright and have multiple branches carrying up to 35 buds. Early bloom and strong rebloom mean this cultivar has an exceptionally long bloom season. Parent of some of our “green” spiders, which are tipped in color. A truly amazing contribution to the revolution in tet spiders. Fertile both ways..………………..$100.00
