Every time I looked at this daylily it reminded me
of the fabulous PRINCESS DI with its pale powder pink color and large
green throat, green edge and superb form. A sib to the blue-pink MADIBA
MAGIC, PRINCESS OF WALES shares its medium green arching foliage and
superb plant balance and plant habits. I have used both sibs in my
hybridizing, for like the fabulous sibs WRENS SONG, SHORES OF TIME and
LESLIE RENEE, they give wonderfully different things in breeding even
though they share the same parents. If you are doing green edges this
and SOME SWEET DAY are a must until the LESLIE RENEE seedlings,
PRINCESS DI and some of the “Matthew’s Best Edge” seedlings are
available. Fertile both ways.
