EMO.  5” x 2½” x 1½”.  3 way branching.  20 – 25 buds.  100% double.ROSE CORSAGE has been named “one of the best plants for the new millenium” by FLOWER AND GARDEN magazine.  It like PUCCINI, was a clear introduction the first time it bloomed.  Of all the Tetra Siloam Double Classic kids, it was one of the few with an excellent plant habit.  Most of the TSDC kids seemed to want to bloom in the top of the upright sword-like leaves with crowded buds and branching.  ROSE CORSAGE was different.  It bloomed above the leaves with good branching and a brilliant rose coloration.  A double red eyed seedling from (Killer x Forever Red x Ricochet (Raspberry Candy x Tetra Janice Brown) proved to be the key for excellent branching.  RICOCHET provided the dormancy and excellent plant habit and KILLER and FOREVER RED gave depth of color to SILOAM DOUBLE CLASSIC.  The result is ROSE CORSAGE, the blending of the very best.  ROSE CORSAGE has excellent substance with tight, neat and well composed ruffling on petals, petaloids and sepals.  The deep green throat can rarely be seen since the flower has never bloomed single for me.  A deep red eye punctuates what is otherwise a pure rose flower.  Add fragrance and you have a perfect rose corsage.
