*SCARLET  LACE (Stamile,P.) TET 8490 [(Desperado Love x Wish Fulfillment) X Edge Of Eden] 27” EMRe. nofr. emo. ev.  4 ½” x 2 ¾” x 1 ¾”. 6-way branching.  50-55 buds.  Imagine for a moment a flat scarlet red with lacey braided white gold edges on the petals and sepals a yellow pink with edging in red and white.   Add a spring green throat with a yellow ring and you have a picture of SCARLET LACE.  While the slide does not show it, SCARLET LACE has a marked bicolor effect in the garden.
     One thing hybridizers like to do is observe what other hybridizers like or think distinctive.  SCARLET LACE and STONE BEACON were the two cultivars that hybridizers seemed to pick each time.  Distinctive, showy and floriferous best describe SCARLET LACE.  Easily fertile both ways……………….$100.00
