with big eyes, especially big eyes with an intriguing pattern. SUNGOLD
CANDY admirably demonstrates the patterning of large eyes.
It presents a very round, full, heavy substanced
bloom in deep bright canary gold with a huge brilliant cherry red eye and
partial cherry red picotee. The eye shades to a mandarin red before
it merges into the lettuce green throat. SUNGOLD CANDY and
AWESOME CANDY were clear winners the first time they bloomed.
SUNGOLD CANDY is especially noted for its brilliance of color and the wonderful
scapes. Like AWESOME CANDY, SUNGOLD CANDY is a very long bloomer and both
should add to the quality of the Candies. Fertile both ways.
