for the wonderful name. Kevin and I were looking at the spiders like
WEB BROWSER and SKINNY DIPPING and he said, “Look at this one waiting in
the wings.” As you can see it became the perfect name. With
a spider ratio of 3.8:1 WAITING IN THE WINGS doesn’t qualify as even a
spider variant but to my eye (and Grace’s, too!) this is my pick of this
year’s ufs and spiders. Great crispate form with enough lifting to
give a sense of cascading. Great clear color with a hint of rose
in an otherwise true purple. Fabulous scapes, great color, great
form, it has it all. It also brings in Snooks Harville’s seedling
SC102, an incredibly beautiful and twisted red and a hard dormant into
the gene pool. About the only thing missing, in my mind, is it is
not fragrant. Our favorite. Easily fertile both ways…………………….$100.00
