* ‘Wild Idea’ (Peat,
’17) (Wild and Wacky x Sdlg.) JP-SD-43 - 5.5” flower, 22” scape. M.,
Sev., Re., 3 way branching with 19 buds. The name describes this flower well – WILD! The pattern and the double eyezone have all kinds of things going on it, a bright green center, surrounded by a dark burgundy broken eyezone which is then surrounded by a cream yellow applique throat. The applique throat is then surrounded by a darker bright-purple wire eyezone below a lavender-blue, purple veined eyezone, which is then surrounded by another darker bright-purple wire eyezone. The ruffled edge tries to mimick the eyezone with it’s lavender-blue, purple but with added wire gold serrated edge surrounding it. It’s just a ‘Wild Idea’ I had when creating this flower. |
