This large lavender purple with a pale silver edge
is what Grace calls “white face” in the miniatures but I simply refer
to it as a watermark. Striking, too, is that the watermark is bisected
with a strong white midrib. It reminds me of the bait fish of the same
name – streaking through the water with blinding streaks of silver – a
moving feast for the eyes. So, too, with Silver Sides. Always open and
never a bad hair day and notable for sending up scape after scape.
Fertile both ways.
