     Named for my life long Best Friend’s daughter, sweet Gentle Joy.  When a great man and friend has a child, he and God together, get to make an Angel.  Like our friendship, this daylily GENTLE JOY blooms with her flowers held high.  An honor to name this pure, neon, hot magenta pink beauty for her.  GENTLE JOY is a Perfect Daylily, and a coloration I have never seen before.  A 3” Shamrock Green center.  To me, there is a hint of blue in the lighter icy pink watermark.  A Joy!  She should grow everywhere.
