Like the seismic ripples produced by an earthquake, the eye in SEISMIC FORCE ripples in bands and rings of color with just a hint of these same colors appearing as a slight picotee at the edge of the petals. In my mind I can see us someday having these same bands of colors at the edges of the daylily as well as in the eye.  There are at least 7 bands of color in the eye of SEISMIC FORCE.  Add strong plants and incredible branching and SEISMIC FORCE makes a wonderful statement in the garden.
