*‘SMALL WORLD GIRL’S NIGHT OUT’ (Miller, M., ’10)
Tet., sw-SP-23-T-06 (‘Velvet Ribbons’ X sw-sp-5-t-05) Dor., E., Re.,
38”, 8”, 3-way branching, 15 BC. Black with a tint of red and a green
throat. This is one cool black daylily. I would like to say it’s the
blackest one out there, but I have a seedling coming along that is a
true black spider with no red or purple mixed in at all. This one puts
on a real show in the garden. The midrib makes it stand out. A must for
spider breeding, as it makes some black, black kids. Fertile both ways. |
