    What an exciting discovery BLUE ORIGIN was. For the first time I was seeing blue eyes, patterning and edging come together. BLUE ORIGIN is a light ruby red with a multicolored eye of purplish blue, violet and charcoal gray edged in royal purple and bluish lavender. Prominent silver gray patches on the sepals add to its striking presence. The throat color is chartreuse.

    BLUE ORIGIN has been one of the best parents for blue edges on large blue eyed flowers. Pollen can be light yellow but it is very fertile both ways.
