    A purple from both pattern breeding and blue breeding brings new genes to the trad purple lines being explored. PURPLE LAGOON is a beet purple with a huge indigo eye dramatically split and bisected with a white star-like pattern along the midribs. The petals are also edged in indigo. I have used PURPLE LAGOON with more traditional purples but I could easily see it used with stripes and variegated flowers to add new genetics there as well. Fertile both ways.
